About Aleksei Kolodnikov
My name is Aleksei Kolodnikov (Alex Kolo) — I’m a young and ambitious graphic designer and visual artist with a keen eye for art and design since childhood.

Over the past few years, I’ve built a solid foundation in communication and graphic design. I studied for two years at the Higher School of Economics (HSE) in Saint Petersburg, where I developed two major projects: designing vinyl record covers and creating a poster series for the Mariinsky Theatre’s production of Richard Wagner’s opera. I also spent a year at Saint Petersburg State University studying Graphic Design, where I focused on drawing, painting, and composition.

Currently, I’m completing my second year at the School of Fine Arts in Sorbonne 1 (Université Panthéon-Sorbonne 1). Here I’ve continued to expand my skills in drawing, painting, modeling, collaborative design projects, as well as exploring art history and the philosophy of art.

Beyond my studies, I’m actively involved in the creative scene: in February 2025, I completed an internship at the Centre Pompidou with the artist Shuck One. This summer, I finished internships in graphic design and fashion photography in Paris. I’ve also contributed to fashion shoots for perfume brands like OHTOP, Frédéric Malle, Naomi Goodsir, and others.

I’m always looking for new challenges to grow my practice and push the boundaries of visual storytelling.
