Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective.
The 19th International Architecture Exhibition, titled Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective., curated by Carlo Ratti and organised by La Biennale di Venezia, is open to the public from Saturday May 10 to Sunday November 23, 2025. Architecture Biennale explores architecture's urgent need to adapt in a rapidly changing world. As climate extremes escalate and traditional systems of understanding begin to fail, the exhibition shifts from mitigation to adaptation, calling on architecture to embrace a broader spectrum of intelligence — natural, artificial, and collective.This edition brings together over 750 participants across disciplines—architects, scientists, philosophers, artists, coders, chefs, farmers, and more—who reimagine how we build for the world ahead. The Latin-rooted neologism Intelligens suggests a fusion of intelligences, emphasizing inclusivity and cooperation beyond digital technologies.The Biennale is located across two main sites – the Arsenale and the Giardini.
