This project is a series of posters created for the Mariinsky Theatre in Saint Petersburg. In creating a visual image, a brief plot of the act or its setting was taken as the basis. First, the posters were made in Adobe Photoshop – the idea of weaving the main location of the act and the musical notes that play at the beginning of the act was used as the foundation. Then, the works were printed and covered with black ink (in some places, the color was changed to white). The order of the posters from left to right is The Rhinegold, The Valkyrie, Siegfried, The Twilight of the Gods. This project was carried out during my design studies at the Higher School of Economics (HSE) in 2022. The images you see here are mock-ups — 3D visualizations created to represent the final look of the printed pieces.
